Dictation

 

1. οἱ ἅγιοι ὄψονται τοὺς τέσσαρας ἀγγέλους καταβαίνοντας εἰς τὴν γῆν.
The holy people will see the four angels coming down to the earth.

2. ποῦ ἐστιν τὸ σῶμα τοῦ προφήτου τοῦ σταυρωθέντος;
Where is the body of the prophet who was crucified?

3. ὁ ἄγγελος τοῦ κυρίου ἔλεγεν τοῖς μαθηταῖς ἐν τῷ πλοίῳ.
The angel of the Lord spoke to the disciples in the boat.

4. ἀδελφοί μου καὶ ἀδελφαί, ποιήσατε ἔργα δικαιωσύνης.
My brothers and sisters, do righteous works.

5. ὀφείλετε ζῆν τὰ ἔτη τὰ λοιπὰ ὑμῶν ἐν εἰρήνῃ καὶ ἐλπίδι.
You must live your remaining years in peace and hope.

6. ὁ υἵος ὁ πρεσβύτερος ἤκουσε τῆς φωνῆς χαρᾶς μεγάλης.
The elder son heard the sound of great rejoicing.

7. ἀναστὰς ὁ υἱὸς ἠκολούθησεν τῇ μητρὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν οἶκον.
The son got up and followed his mother to the house.

8. ὁ πονηρὸς βασιλεὺς ἤθελεν ἀπολέσαι τὸ ἅγιον παιδίον.
The wicked king wanted to destroy the holy child.

9. δέκα δοῦλοι φέρουσι δύο λίθους μεγάλους εἰς τὸ ἱερόν.
The ten slaves carry two great stones to the temple.

10. οἱ ἁμαρτωλοὶ οὐ θέλουσι μετανοῆσαι ἐκ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν.
The sinners do not want to repent from their sin.
