Notes About This Site

This website takes the several public domain versions of 1001 Nights and reproduces them in an easy-to-read, easy-to-to-print hypertext presentation.

You can navigate backwards-and-forwards within the stories, and the index pages show the frametale structure found in Burton, Land, Payne, and Scott (Dixon's collection of tales abandons the frametale structure).

There is a Search box at the bottom of each page, which allows you to search the texts of all the stories.

There is also a Tale of the Day which appears on the Home page of the website. Learn how to add the Tale of the Day to your website, using a simple javascript!
