Augustine
Augustinus in hortulo sedet.
Est in hortulo ficus alta.
Augustinus scripturam sacram legit.
Augustinus tristis videtur.

Here is an example of a description of a brief monologue:

Samson in molis (an example of Samson talking to himself while imprisoned in the mill).
Dalila mala femina est!
Cur veritam ei aperui?
Nunc miserrimus sum!
Deus meus, adiuva me!

Here is an example of a description of a brief dialogue:

Abelard and Heloise are speaking:
H: Carissime, valde te amo.
A: Deum solum amare debemus.
H: Deum amo, te iubente.
A: Dominum amemus ex toto corde!
