Tool: Fixed-Date Calendar Content |

When it comes to date-based content, there are two options that you can choose from. One type of date-based content is fixed-date calendar content. This is content which displays based both on the day and the year. So, for example, if you are creating calendar content for a specific semester of a course (like in my list of due dates for Fall 2005 semester homework), you would choose the fixed-date calendar content option. When you create the calendar, the Rotating Content tool fills in the date information for you, based on the start-date and end-date you supply, and the days of the week that you want to include. If you need to delete some dates or make changes to the start-date and end-date later on, that is easy to do - but it's very handy to have the Content Tool create the initial table for you!
