Reason #3: HTML Content

Reason #3: Rotating Content is HTML-based content. This means the Rotating Content can

  • integrate text with images
  • contain hyperlinks
  • use web-friendly formatting, such as bold font, bulleted lists, etc.

The integration of text and image, in particular, is one of the strengths of web presentation. The Progress Meter, for example, is a date-based form of Rotating Content which uses an image to show how much time has progressed in a certain period. Here's a Progress Meter showing how far we have gotten into the year 2005:
