Ζωμοῦ χύτρῃ μῦς ἐμπεσὼν ἀπωμάστῳ
καὶ τῷ λίπει πνιγόμενος ἐκπνέων τ' ἤδη
"βέβρωκα" φησί "καὶ πέπωκα καὶ πάσης
τρυφῆς πέπλησμαι· καιρός ἐστί μοι θνῄσκειν."
