Εὐνοῦχος ἦλθε πρὸς θύτην ὑπὲρ παίδων
σκεψόμενος, ὁ θύτης δ' ἁγνὸν ἧπαρ ἁπλώσας
"ὅταν μέν" εἶπε "ταῦτ' ἴδω, πατὴρ γίνῃ,
ὅταν δὲ τὴν σὴν ὄψιν, οὐδ' ἀνὴρ φαίνῃ."
