Λύκος ποτ' ἄρας
πρόβατον ἐκ μέσης ποίμνης
ἐκόμιζεν οἴκαδ'· ᾧ λέων συναντήσας
ἀπέσπας' αὐτοῦ. καὶ λύκος σταθεὶς πόρρω
"ἀδίκως μ' ἀφείλω τῶν ἐμῶν" ἐκεκράγει.
λέων δὲ τερφθεὶς εἶπε τὸν λύκον σκώπτων
"σοὶ γὰρ δικαίως ὑπὸ φίλων ἐδωρήθη;"
